At Rita B Salon, our goal is to make every woman look beautiful, sexy, and their absolute best. We love our clients and want them to love their hair! After all, hair is our most important accessory. It’s one of the first things people notice about us.

Founded by Rita Bellino in Cherry Creek, CO, Rita B has evolved into one of the premier hair salons in Denver. The Rita B brand is dedicated to excellence in customer service, bringing its clients the most current designs, trends and products available.

In 2013, Scott Lobben opened the newest Rita B Salon in the Capitol Hill section of Denver at The Beauvallon. Scott is a master with color, and a true talent with a pair of shears and a blow dryer.

The Rita B Institute was founded  in 2004.

The Rita B Institute was the first School in the State of Colorado to offer the  Cosmetology Apprenticeship Program as a division of Occupational Schools. The school is unique in that Rita has earned 50 yrs. of success in the Beauty Industry producing students that earn, and are capable of earning,  a high income. This, of course, requires commitment and discipline of the student, but it’s possible!

We are committed to continuously learning and teaching the latest techniques in hair design and have traveled the world  for over 50 years learning from the top designers in Europe including the Alexandre team in Paris, Leo Passage, Pivot Point International, Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and Bumble, Aveda, Horst Rechelbacher, Paul Mitchell, Alphaparf, Schwartzkoff, and many more.

Community has always been important to the Bellino family, and the Rita B team proudly and regularly makes donations to those groups and charities we feel benefit our community and clientele. Our many awards are a reflection of our passion for Beauty, Service, and our Community.

Our History, by Rita Bellino

When just 14 I started working with my Dad, Rocco Bellino, in his salon; 40 years later I am still walking into the salon every morning, breathing in the aromas of many potions we create to be used in our clients’ transformation to peak beauty and healthful well being.

Since my girlhood, the industry has changed drastically, and yet, in some ways, remains the same; women still wish to be beautiful and men want to be handsome. We still give toddlers their first haircut, send them off to the first day of school, polish them for prom and graduation, style them for their wedding, and send them to the delivery room looking beautiful where the cycle begins again. . .

While working with my Dad as my mentor and trainer I participated and won many National and International Hair Competitions in the Chicago area and a round the country. This led to many years performing style and design work and educating hair stylists over the world, including working for numerous hair product manufacturers. The opportunity to travel, share my skills, and work with colleagues has expanding my knowledge of the industry and been an invaluable experience.

As I grew in the industry, all four of my wonderful children became very involved in the everyday life of the salon resulting in their becoming excellent stylists; something I never expected. It is difficult to write about our family without mentioning the salon because it has been and is so much a part of our life together. I feel honored they have followed the family trade and chosen to spend so much of their lives with their Mom!”
