Individualized hair products for different hair types

Your hair is unique; use the right products

individualized hair productsThere are a lot of misconceptions in the world of hair products. One of the most common errors we've seen is the assumption that any product can work for any kind of hair.

While we love that our customers are making an effort to add hair products to their respective routines, we want to make sure everyone has the right product for their particular hair type.

Here are two major reasons why you should be using individualized hair care products:

  1. Not all hair is the same. It might sound obvious at first, but the issue may (literally) go deeper than you think. There are many factors that determine every person's hair type: genetics, diet, straightness, curl type (yes, there are various kinds of curls), porosity, hair shaft thickness, follicle density, color treatments, and much more. As much as we would wish it, there is no one "holy grail" hair product that can possibly cater to such a wide variety of needs.

  2. Every routine is different. Some of us go through our hair routines in the morning before we start our day, while others do it at night before bed. Some style their hair using heat (blow dryers, straighteners, etc.), some let their hair air-dry as it will (curly-haired people, you know what we're talking about). Some hair types desire a lot of protein (high porosity), while others avoid it like the plague (low porosity). Again, no single product can handle all those needs at once.

So, now you know that you should be buying products uniquely suited to your own hair.
